Oliver Mackay
International Operations Manager
Oliver graduated from University College London in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Anthropology specializing in the fluidity of national identity. He then went on to work in publishing at Oxford University Press (OUP) where he remained for 3 years. After learning Spanish in South America, Oliver moved to China in 2007 and began studying Mandarin. After intensive language training he established the corporate training company, Bodleian, which has since been integrated into Yu-Lun Education, based at [Shanghai] Jiao Tong University. Oliver also imported health products from the UK and Europe into China for sales in Chinese high-street stores and helped develop strategic plans for other companies intending to break into the China market. Oliver is based in China. Oliver joined Source Co in November 2009 and is now the China Operations Manager. His responsibilities include developing relationships with new customers in the UK and Europe for Source Co’s renewable energy solutions, developing Source Co.’s mineral trading arm and representing Source Co to their international investors.
John O’Grady
Group Procurement Manager
John is based in our Shanghai office where he manages all of our procurement operations. In 2003 he graduated from Dublin City University with a BSc in Computer Applications & Information Systems. The following year he moved to China where he started a successful product sourcing company, Five Star Imports. Since 2004 John has built an enviable network of China supply options across a wide range of industries. Through his time in China, John has become a fluent Mandarin speaker. He joined the Source Co team in 2009 and has brought much valuable experience of doing business in China. His management skills are displayed by our teams from sourcing, through production and quality management systems to logistics and delivery.
Alexandra Livermore
China Business Compliance and Accounts
Alexandra graduated from Queensland University with a Bachelor of Business Majoring in Valuation. Alexandra has continued her studies in the field of Company Secretary and Corporate Governance. She has worked with the company in its China offices since they opened and is fluent in Mandarin. Alexandra’s main responsibility is corporate governance and compliance of our China and Hong Kong incorporated enterprises.
